(1919-2009) Home Army soldier, pseudonym. "Ewa", prisoner of the Soviet labor camps; prof. philosophy, expert in modern French philosophy; she studied the transformation of intellectual formations, the philosophy of Polish positivism, prof. in Institute of Philosophy and Sociology of the Polish Academy of Sciences. The surname Kraśniewska was a pseudonym adopted by her for the purpose of publishing the émigré edition of "After Liberation".
